Samantha and I decided to have some pictures taken of us around the lodge for our families to see. Now you get the benefit of seeing who your hosts will be!

A winter afternoon in the harbor.

I tried my hand at fishing the lands end pylons, but I hit the tide wrong. So I grabbed the camera and took these as I walked through a frozen harbor.

Samantha and I chose to go out for a date night last night to a local restaurant Called Wasabi’s. The food was amazing, we shared a steam pot with green curry sauce, soft shelled crab and halibut. The bar was full of Alaskan beer and they also infuse their own rum. This was a wonderful dinner and the best part is that its less than a mile from the Lodge!

Anchorage

Weather No Comments

Big news for me, I’m heading to Anchorage to pick Samantha up at the airport tomorrow! This will be her first time ever seeing Alaska. I really hope she likes it because I don’t want to leave this beautiful place. We have been given a forecast of four days worth of sunshine. I’m really excited that Sammy will get great views of the mountains and glaciers.
