Last few guests are limiting out on the kings!!!
Seems the Pheasants and snowshoes have taken over this spring! Shall make for a tasty Easter dinner!!
We here in Homer couldn’t ask for better weather! I even saw some buds on the Alders.
Finally got out this past week, right away we hooked up! The feeder kings are here along with some mid sized halibut!!!
Well, we got another 3″ of fresh snow last night, was thinking we were over it, guess not.
Easy to track the pheasants!
The Moose have come down from the hilltop. They are munching away on the now exposed grasses. Looking for a place to birth their young.
Last year it was right here in the back yard next to the lodge.
The males are running crazy all over the property here. They are crowing as if they were a Rooster first thing in the morning, I have never seen so many Pheasnts here before. Yummy!!
A 30 pounder took first place this year!! Congrats.! There are plenty of fish out there, over a hundred fish were caught this year durning the derby.
Time to make your reservations!!!
The thaw is on!!! We are gearing up for a great spring.
The weather has been so mild, I have a feeling that last years weather might repeat itself.
We got more snow in March than the entire rest of the winter! I hope not, I’m so ready for this stuff to melt and go away………………..
