Nushagak Camp Meal

ALASKA'S LEGEND LODGE NUSHAGAK KING SALMON CAMP
We are located in the world famous Bristol Bay Drainage, also known as the salmon capitol of the world. the Nushagak River Camp is located 250 miles SW of Anchorage and 20 miles north upstream on the Nushagak River from Dillingham. This is a Deluxe tent camp with spacious tents with wooden foundations, large bunks, family style high quality meals, and is ten feet from the "Nush". Fishermen average 20 king salmon per person per day with an average of 25 pounds per fish. This is why the "Nush" is so famous. The camp is setup for fishermen to truly enjoy their remote fishing trip. One way we do this is by letting the fisherman decide on how long they want to fish (2 to 18 hours per day). Boats will only have 2 fishermen per guide for quality fishing, not combat fishing in the same boat. The camp guides are all well seasoned and all have coast guard licenses. Bait casting and spin fishing is generally the norm with selected shallow water hot spots for the flyrodder.
